Description:

This book portrays a genre of biblical personalities and contemporary faces of poor slum children. It references Joey A. Velasco’s book, They Have Jesus, The Stories of the Children of Hapag. Msgr. Gutierrez weaves graphically a tale of tensions between necropolis (City of the Living Dead) and freedom, powerlessness and strength, skepticism and belief, sinfulness and mercy, ora et labora. This book is for those who are “hungry” for the Word (Scriptures) and desirous of “feeding” the “starving.”
