The Launching began with the Mass presided by the author himself, with Fr. Vic Apacible, the parish priest of the Shrine of the Sacred Heart.

Msgr. Teroy, as fondly called, just celebrated his 55th priestly anniversary and 80th birthday. This book launching celebrates the series of special events of his life.

Msgr. Antero Sarmiento is now based in St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Palanan, Makati. He gives seminars on Christian maturity, leadership, lay ministry in the Church and liturgical renewal. He served as a pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Baras (Rizal), of St. Joseph Parish in Manuguit (Tondo, Manila), of St. Joseph Parish in Vancouver (Canada) and of Immaculate Conception Parish in Concepcion (Malabon City). He taught homiletics at the Holy Apostles Seminary and was Vice Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Manila. He was appointed national coordinator of Evangelization 2000 and was very much involved in Life in the Spirit Seminars, Marriage Encounter, Family Encounter, Parish Renewal Experience, and many other renewal programs of the Church.
