ST PAULS LAUNCHES FR. SYQUIA’S EXORCIST VOLUME TWO

The book, Exorcist, Spiritual Battle Lines, is the second of three volumes. It begins with the role of Mother Mary in exorcisms as well as the lives of the saints to combat the different forms of evil in the world. The book includes the different true stories from the Vatican and Italian exorcists.

Fr. Jose Francisco Syquia has a Licentiate in Spiritual Theology from the Angelicum University in Rome and a Master’s degree in Psychology from the UST Graduate School. He currently Heads the Commission on Extraordinary Phenomena for the Archdiocese of Manila. He also serves as the Director of the Archdiocese of Manila Office of Exorcism and a member of the International Association of Exorcists based in Rome. Aside from these tasks, Fr. Syquia is also full-time formator, spiritual director and professor of spirituality and psychology at the San Carlos Major Seminary in Makati.

Realizing the urgent need for more devoted and trained Catholic priests, religious, and laity who would minister to the thousands and thousands of people who are sick and under the bondage of demonic powers, Fr. Syquia aims to share and impart lessons he gained through his studies and experiences through the many years that he was involved in the ministry of deliverance and exorcism.

The book contains helpful appendices: A) Is there a such a thing as “Wandering Souls”?; B) St. Thomas Aquinas on the Occult; C) An Exorcist Speaks about the Final Battle and Its Aftermath; D) Interview with Fr. Gabriele Amorth; and D)Manual of Prayers (Marian Prayers, Angel Prayers, Prayer to the Saints).

Fr. Syquia hopes to guide those in the ministries of healing, deliverance, and exorcism to develop properly the isms that God has graciously bestowed on them to build up his Church.
