In our times, we have been privileged to be able to read the private revelations of Venerable Anne Catherine Emmerich, St. Bridget of Sweden, Abbess Maria Cecilia Baij, Maria Valtorta, Luisa Piccarreta, Venerable Mary of Agreda, and others, telling us some of the incidents which may have occurred in the lives of Jesus and the saints. Once again we are blessed with some private revelations about the life of Jesus, given by Him to Carver Alan Ames.
In time, the Church will judge the authenticity of these revelations. We do not attempt to preempt the Church in this matter, but whether or not these events actually took place, what is important is that this book provides spiritual reading which raises our minds and thoughts to God and illustrates ways to change our own lives to become holier.
